1. Indoor unit arrangement
(1) During indoor unit installation, the control switch must be located in the same room, the return air outlet must be in the same space, and it is essential to ensure unobstructed return air flow and ample space for maintenance.
(2) During the indoor unit's installation, the condensate tray drain must maintain a 10-degree incline to facilitate the discharge of condensate.
(3) The indoor unit hanger should have sufficient strength to bear the weight of the indoor unit itself, and the length of the indoor unit rod should not exceed 5cm beyond the equipment.
2.格力Outdoor Unit Arrangement:
When arranging outdoor units, ensure unobstructed air intake and smooth exhaust to prevent backflow. This is crucial for the unit's cooling and heating output. Many air conditioning installation cases show that outdoor units are commonly placed on rooftops, balconies, and ground levels.
3. Indoor and outdoor unit matching:
The multi-split outdoor units are flexible and can be freely matched, but attention should be paid to the reasonable matching of indoor units and the use coefficient issue. Generally, the capacity ratio between the indoor and outdoor units should be greater than or equal to 50% and less than or equal to 130%.
4. Condensate Pipe Installation
Some indoor units of the Multi-split Central Air Conditioning System come with condensate water drainage pumps. The length of the condensate pipes should be kept as short as possible and have a slight slope to prevent air blockages and ensure smooth drainage.
