Servo systems consist of: servo drivers, servo motors, and a feedback sensor. All these components operate within a controlled closed-loop system:
The driver receives parameter information from the outside.
2. Subsequently, a certain current is supplied to the stepping servo motor, which converts it into torque to drive the load. The load moves or accelerates/decelerates according to its own characteristics. Sensors measure the load's position, allowing the drive unit to compare the set value and the actual position value.
3. Then, by adjusting the motor current, the actual position value is maintained in alignment with the set information. When a sudden load change causes a speed variation, the encoder detects this change and promptly informs the servo driver. The driver then modifies the current supplied to the servo motor to accommodate the load change and returns the speed back to the set value.
The servo system is a highly responsive full-closed-loop system, with a rapid response time lag between load fluctuations and speed corrections. At this point, what truly limits the system's response effectiveness is the transmission time of the mechanical connection device.
