SMT assembly refers to the abbreviation for a series of processing procedures carried out on the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) base.
SMT stands for Surface Mount Technology, a popular technique and process in the electronics assembly industry. Surface Mount Technology (SMT), also known as surface mounting or surface assembly technology, involves installing surface mount components (SMC/SMD, known as chip components in Chinese) on the surface of a printed circuit board (PCB) or other substrates and welding them together using reflow soldering or immersion soldering methods.
In most cases, the electronic products we use are assembled from PCBs and various electronic components such as capacitors, resistors, etc., according to the designed circuit diagram. Therefore, different electrical appliances require various SMT surface mount assembly processes for manufacturing.
