SMT refers to the abbreviation for a series of processing procedures performed on the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) base.
SMT stands for Surface Mount Technology, a popular technique and process in the electronic assembly industry. Also known as Surface Mount Technology (SMT), it refers to the method of mounting leadless or short-lead surface mount components (abbreviated as SMC/SMD) onto the surface of a printed circuit board (PCB) or other substrates, and then welding and assembling them using reflow soldering or dipping methods.
In most cases, the electronic products we use are assembled from PCBs and various electronic components such as capacitors and resistors, following the circuit diagrams designed. Therefore, a variety of electrical appliances require different SMT surface mount assembly processes for manufacturing.
