I. Introduction
The environment for laying power cables is extremely complex, and pinpointing cable faults is crucial throughout the fault testing process. Under current technological conditions, there are relatively good solutions for measuring the distance of power cable faults. However, even with the most accurate measurements, due to the reasons of laying and environmental influences, it is only possible to determine a general range, not a precise location. This leads to high labor intensity, significant blindness, and low efficiency.
In light of these developments, our company has developed a precision fault locating product, the XFH-200 Cable Fault Locating Instrument, which integrates discharge acoustic wave display, fault distance digital display, and features high anti-interference and sensitivity. Based on the time difference method of acoustic-magnetic signal transmission, it combines high-performance digital filter circuits with low-noise design. By comparing and verifying acoustic measurement, magnetic field scanning, and acoustic-magnetic synchronization methods, it ensures precision and efficiency in pinpointing. It can also choose multiple testing paths according to environmental constraints, has a silent function, and an intuitive user interface. With ultra-high anti-interference capability and various filtering frequency bands, it can accurately and rapidly locate all types of cable faults.

II. Features
Our new model features a high-brightness 4.3-inch OLED color LCD, unaffected by intense light conditions, resulting in a clearer display interface.
Utilizing a programmable pulse code keyboard, operation is smart and convenient.
Utilizing four filter bandwidths: low-frequency, mid-frequency, high-frequency, and full-range, with timely selection.
Utilizing digital filtering technology to process audio signals, with more pronounced characteristic frequency bands and superior filtering performance.
Fault distance is displayed digitally, with a range of up to 25 meters.
Audio signal waveform display allows for the observation of repetitive waveform characteristics and the approximate distance to the fault point by observing the distance from the axis. Operators find it easy to observe waveforms without fatigue, and in the single-mode, detailed analysis of audio waveforms within a distance of 15 meters is supported, with page scrolling display.
The system features both single and continuous modes, allowing for selection based on actual conditions, with detailed waveform analysis and overall cyclic analysis.
With noise-canceling features to ensure operators are protected from loud noise while moving the probe.
