Underground Pipeline Detection Methods

Principle of Operation      

    This instrument is based on the reflection principle of electromagnetic waves during transmission and the principle of electromagnetic induction, combined with digital filtering. High-tech products designed for wireless reception and software control.

Electromagnetic Induction: Its basic working principle is that the transmitter generates electrical and magnetic waves, which are then transmitted to the underground pipeline through various transmission connections. Upon induction of the electromagnetic waves by the metal pipeline, an induced current is generated on the cable surface.Electrical current, when induced, travels along metallic cables to distant points. During its propagation, it emits electromagnetic waves through the cables to the ground. When the underground metallic pipeline tester's receiver detects on the ground, it receives electromagnetic wave signals directly above the underground metallic pipelines. By analyzing the strength variations of the received signals, the location and direction of the underground metallic pipelines can be determined.
