Usage

Capacitive voltage divider is a general-purpose high-voltage measuring instrument used for high-precision measurement of AC high voltage and DC high voltage at power frequency.

The capacitive voltage divider consists of a high-voltage measuring section and a low-voltage display meter. During operation, the high-voltage section and the low-voltage meter are separated, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

The capacitive voltage divider series features a portable structure, encased in an aluminum alloy packaging box for the entire unit, making it extremely convenient for use and transport.

User Instructions

Capacitive voltage dividers must be properly grounded!

Ensure the test voltage is below the high voltage of the capacitive voltage divider!

Note: 1. The high-voltage voltage divider must be connected in series to be used.

2. When the range is between 0 to 30kV, set the RCF capacitive voltage divider to the low range; switch to the high range for voltages above 30kV.

Cautionary Notes

Ensure ground wire is checked before use.

2. The Impact of Low-Voltage Instrument Impedance on High-Voltage Divider

The capacitive voltage divider is paired with a low-voltage measuring instrument that has an input impedance of 2400MΩ. When using other instruments, consider the impact of their input impedance.

When applying high voltage, there should be no debris near the high-voltage digital meter or the high-voltage leads.

4. Calibration and Maintenance

Calibration: Capacitive voltage dividers should be calibrated by a higher-level metrological inspection department at least once a year.

(2) The adjustable potentiometer located beneath the low-voltage meter's panel on the capacitive voltage divider is used for adjusting errors during calibration.

(3) During calibration, remove the panel, apply pressure, and adjust the potentiometer.

(4) The capacitive voltage divider comes with a one-year warranty.
