III. Usage and Maintenance

1Before use, an self-check is mandatory, performed by pressing the self-check button with a finger. The indicator light should flash intermittently, accompanied by intermittent alarm sounds. This indicates that the instrument is functioning normally.

2Conducting 10KVDuring electrical testing operations, it is mandatory to comply with the regulations of the "Electric Power Industry Safety Work Procedures." Staff must wear insulating gloves, insulated shoes, and ensure a safe distance from live equipment.

3Employees must hold the bottom part of the insulating rod to ensure its effective length. According to the "Electric Power Industry Safety Work Regulations," they must first test the electric equipment, verifying that the tester is indeed in good working condition before use.

4Insulators should undergo regular insulation and voltage withstand tests, as well as start-up tests. In humid areas, this should be done every three months, while in dry areas, every six months. If the product is found to be unreliable, it should be discontinued.

5Do not use during rainy or foggy weather.

6Electrical testers should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area free of corrosive gases.
