Construction requirements for the overall masonry of the roller kiln:
The soaking time for refractory mud should be over 24 hours, and it should be well-mixed.
2. Expansion joint requirements: 5mm in width, 10mm in length. Adjacent layers of bricks in all walls are constructed with staggered alignment. In the high-temperature zone, an expansion joint is left every 1 to 1.2 meters, in the moderate-temperature zone every 1.5 meters, and in the low-temperature area every 2 meters. The foundation wall has a uniform 10mm expansion joint at the center of the same cross-section, with side walls having staggered joints. All expansion joints are filled with fire-resistant fiber cotton of the corresponding specifications according to the temperature zones.
3. Insulation fiber mats for ceiling tiles, top-side tiles, ceiling insulation, kiln roof expansion joints, and end surface expansion joints must be strictly constructed on-site according to the design drawings in a safe manner.
The horizontal plane requirement for the roller hearth drive center must be equal to or greater than ±2mm/100mm, the variation between the roller shaft center and the brick hole center must be equal to or greater than ±1.5mm, the ceramic roller shaft length must be equal to or greater than ±3mm to ensure compatibility with the roller sleeve, preventing any situation where the roller shaft cannot be inserted into the sleeve. Additionally, the physical and chemical properties of ceramic roller shafts for other roller hearth kilns must also meet the required standards.
