On September 21st, marks the founding day of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. The members of the Hunan Provincial Political Consultative Conference's National Physical Fitness Committee visited schools, industrial parks, and enterprises to carry out a special democratic supervision activity for improving the ecological environment as part of the "Member Activity Day." The members were joined by Mr. Li Shun, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Cultural, Educational, Health, and Sports Committee of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, Mr. Luo Shuangquan, the Director of the Provincial Sports Bureau, Ms. Tian Qing, the Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial Table Tennis and Badminton Sports Management Center, Mr. Zhong Gaoming, a member of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of Hunan Youguan Sports, and members Chen Tao, Luo Gangjin, and Ou Yang from Jiluo City, among others.
At Hunan Information College's gymnasium and track and field stadium, members of various studios focused on promoting green environmental protection in the construction of smart campus venues. They conducted inspections on multiple aspects, including the selection of site materials, natural ecological drainage treatment, vegetation coverage, and waste management. They emphasized the ecological environmental protection issues in the early evaluation of venue construction, sponge city design, waste disposal, continuous maintenance, and renovation. They also discussed how to sustainably protect the environment throughout the entire lifecycle of sports venues to ensure harmonious coexistence with the surrounding environment.
Subsequently, the research team visited Hunan Engineering Machinery Industrial Park, where they toured Lingjian Technology and Youguang Sports. Both companies are dedicated to enhancing the ecological environment, promoting regional economic development, and advancing technological innovation, empowering high-quality corporate development through technology and environmental protection. The production lines of both Lingjian Technology and Youguang Sports employ eco-friendly technologies and equipment. Youguang Sports has also installed rooftop photovoltaic power generation systems, providing green electricity to the industry, with an annual generation of nearly 3 million kilowatt-hours, helping the company achieve carbon reduction and green sustainable development. Furthermore, both companies actively engage in green supply chain management, requiring suppliers to use eco-friendly materials and production processes to minimize environmental impact during production. The research team acknowledges the efforts of these two companies in improving the ecological environment.
The Studio Committee members and sports sector enthusiasts jointly held a symposium on the construction and improvement of fitness facilities for national fitness and the enhancement of ecological environment.
