Important Notes:
1. To ensure safety, it is mandatory to install an earth wire and ensure proper grounding.
2. During the heating process of the muffle furnace, the outer shell also becomes hot. The working environment requires no flammable or corrosive gases, and easy heat dissipation.
Upon completion of the muffle furnace, the power should be disconnected to allow it to cool naturally. The furnace door may be opened only after the temperature has dropped below 200°C. Do not open the door immediately to prevent the furnace chamber from cracking due to sudden cooling. If urgency arises, open a small gap first to accelerate cooling.
4. The refractory material in the new furnace contains a certain amount of moisture. Prior to first use or after a long-term shutdown, the furnace should be dried out, gradually heating up to 200-600°C over a period of approximately 4-5 hours to prevent cracking due to rapid temperature changes after the furnace chamber gets damp. The drying process also facilitates the formation of an oxide layer on the heating elements.
5. Do not exceed the blast furnace temperature when in use to prevent damaging the electric heating elements, and avoid operating for extended periods above the rated temperature.
6. Be cautious and prevent scalding.
After several cycles of heating, the insulating material of the furnace may develop cracks, which are caused by thermal expansion and do not affect the quality of the furnace.
8. Regularly inspect the wiring connections and the operation of the pointers. At least once a month, check the buttons and clean the furnace, ensuring the cleaning is done when the furnace is not powered on.
Extend the lifespan of its filament.
Avoid prolonged work in high-temperature conditions.
