Warp knitting involves feeding yarns into the weft needles of a knitting machine, where each yarn forms loops in a row in a specific sequence to create knitted fabrics. The structure of the loops and the combinations of these loops result in various types of knitting structures, categorized into three main groups: basic structures, modified structures, and patterned structures.

1. Basic Organization
(1) Plain Knit Fabric Organization: A simple fabric structure in knitted goods, consisting of continuous loops interconnected in a single direction, as shown in the left figure below. It creates a different appearance on the front and back of the fabric. This organization has high lateral extensibility but is prone to curling and unraveling. It is widely used in underwear, outerwear, and various types of socks.

(2) The ribbing weave is a two-sided weave composed of alternating rows of loops on the front and back. Depending on the number of alternating rows, different types of ribbing weaves with varying names and properties are created. The ribbing weave boasts excellent elasticity and is commonly used in various内衣 products and in areas of clothing that require stretch, such as hemlines, sleeve cuffs, collars, and elastic garments.

(3) Double-faced Weave Also known as "Pearl weave," the double-faced weave, as shown in the left image below, is composed of alternating rows of front loops and back loops. It can be arranged in various combinations to create wavy or patterned textures. This weave features both longitudinal and transverse extensibility and similar elasticity, and is commonly used for shaped products such as sweaters, sportswear, or children's clothing.

2. Organizational Changes
The variation is formed by configuring another or several coil rows of basic organizations between the longitudinal rows of adjacent coil rows in a basic organization, such as the commonly used double ribbing organization. Also known as double reverse organization, it is composed of two ribbing organizations that are mutually compounded, forming the same appearance of the front loops on both the front and back of the fabric. It is widely used in underwear and sportswear.

3. Color Weave Organization
Woven knitted fabrics come in a variety of patterns and structures. They are formed by weaving different structures of loops, based on basic or variable weaves, using various yarns in a certain pattern. Examples include padding weave, gathering weave, pineapple weave, waffle weave, plush weave, warp and weft interlock, and more. These weaves are widely used in both outer and innerwear, towels, blankets, children's clothing, and sportswear.
