Identification of Polyester, Nylon, and Acrylic

Polyester, whether it be cationic modified polyester, drawn yarn, or low-elastic yarn, emits a pale red flame with a pleasant fragrance during combustion.

2. Nylon, whether drawn or low-elastic, emits an odor when burned. The flame color of white or light-colored nylon is light blue, while the flame color of black or dark-colored nylon is light yellow.
