Identification of cotton yarn, Modal, and Tencel

Utilizing the significantly lower wet strength compared to dry strength, it's easy to differentiate between cotton yarn and Modal, Tencel. Modal and Tencel are primarily distinguished by the surface fibrillation of the yarn. If it's Tencel, the surface will appear entangled with fibers due to fibrillation, resulting in a smooth and soft feel. Modal, on the other hand, usually doesn't exhibit this characteristic.
