Distinguishing between Regular Polyester and Cationic Polyester

If both are raw fibers, we just need to look at the sheen. The cationic polyester has a sheen between semi-matte and glossy, which is a matte type, so we can distinguish them based on that. For finished products, the darker ones are cationic polyester (except for color-woven fabrics). By pulling out a few fibers and stretching them, the ones with less strength are cationic polyester.
