Advantages of Phenolic Fiber:
Flame Retardancy: With a high flame retardancy level of LOI 34, surpassing Aramid's LOI 29, the phenolic fiber composition is identical to cotton, free of toxic elements like nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, and halogens. It possesses flame retardant properties, directly carbonizes in flame conditions without producing toxic smoke, and does not melt or drip, causing secondary injury.
Thermal Resistance: Suitable for long-term use at temperatures between 150-180°C. Quality loss occurs at 200°C in air, and at 250-300°C in nitrogen.
Thermal Insulation: Low thermal conductivity, offering excellent thermal and insulation properties.
Low-temperature performance: Good dimensional stability at low temperatures.
Chemical Resistance: Stable chemical properties, resistant to acids, bases, industrial bleaches, and not soluble in the majority of organic solvents.
Other features: Excellent electrical insulation properties, with insulation resistance reaching 1000 megohms per millimeter, good sound absorption and noise insulation, soft phenolic fiber, and wool-like touch.
