The analysis of reasons for holes caused by hydrogen peroxide bleaching: (1) The fabric is stained with oil containing heavy metal ions like copper and iron before bleaching; or it comes into contact with copper and iron equipment during the bleaching process. (2) The concentration of hydrogen peroxide is too high, the vaporizing time after bleaching is too long, or excessive hot steam is used. (3) If the grey fabric is subjected to mercerization before bleaching, the surface pH value becomes too high and the alkaline content is excessive locally due to uneven and incomplete washing after mercerization. (4) Improper selection of stabilizers or poor stabilizing effect of stabilizers causes the hydrogen peroxide to decompose prematurely.
