The涡流纺 offers fast spinning speeds and high yields.

The涡流纺纱machine spinning speed ranges from 100 to 200 m/min, with practical speeds typically between 100 and 160 m/min. In China, the涡流纺纱machine is used to produce yarns of 6 to 12 Ne, spinning at 100 to 140 m/min, with a single output of 600 to 800 kg per spindle per hour, which is 4 to 5 times that of ring-spun yarn. For spinning 40 denier acrylic yarn, using 10 units (192 heads per unit) of PF-1涡流纺纱machines, the output reaches 400 kg/h. This is equivalent to the output of 20 BD-200 air-jet spinning machines (4,000 heads) or 40 ring-spun machines with 16,320 spindles. The output of one涡流纺纱head is equivalent to 2.08 air-jet spinning heads or 8.5 ring-spun spindles. As涡流纺纱relies on涡流 twisting, further research and improvement could potentially increase the spinning speed.

The涡流纺纱 can produce fibers of lengths between 38~60mm, suitable for pure and blended yarns of cotton and chemical fibers. The yarn structure is relatively fluffy, resulting in good dyeability, moisture absorption, and breathability. The yarn also exhibits good anti-pilling and wear resistance. The yarn count range is limited to medium and low counts, making it ideal for products with plush textures. For instance, chemical fibers (such as acrylic, chlorine fiber, and viscose) of 38mm length can be spun into 6~12 Ne cotton count yarn, which can be woven into plush garments, pants, scarves, cushions, upholstery, furniture fabrics, and small tablecloths, and other knitted plush products.

Simple operation, convenient connectors

The涡流纺纱process employs vortex tubes for yarn formation, making the joint process simple and convenient as the vortex tubes are stationary with no high-speed rotating parts. After a breakage, there's no need for cleaning, enhancing the working environment. It has no special requirements for pre-spinning equipment or humidity and temperature. With no high-speed rotating parts in涡流纺, there's no issue with high-speed bearing lubrication, resulting in low wear, minimal noise, and easy maintenance.
