Polyester yarn refers to yarn spun from polyester, which is a type of fiber produced by spinning a polymer.

The fiber currently produced from ethylene glycol dibenzoate is commonly referred to as "PET" fiber, an abbreviation for the English name "polyethylene terephthalate." In China, it is commonly known as涤纶.

Pure polyester yarn is spun from polyester short fibers, which come in different categories. By length, there are cotton-type fibers, around 37 millimeters in length, medium to long fibers, between 51 to 57 millimeters, and wool-type fibers, ranging from 75 to 105 millimeters.

We offer fine denier fibers around 1.5D, coarse denier fibers around 5D, and those in between at approximately 3D. Naturally, we also have even finer fibers such as 1D and ultra-fine fibers ranging from 0.1-0.5D.
The yarn is very fine, such as 50s or 60s, spun from fine denier fibers, which makes it easy to spin evenly, resulting in good yarn evenness and fewer fly-offs. If the fibers are longer, it can enhance the holding power and also improve the strength.

The yarn spun has a smooth texture, whereas coarse-count yarn feels rougher and has a better fluffy feel.
