The smaller the incremental addition of raw materials for the incoming batch, the less likelihood of cross-sections in the fabric; conversely, the higher the likelihood.(3) Inconsistent mixing of raw materials from different origins, batches, and specifications, as well as uneven blending of different components in mixed-spun varieties, can all lead to crosswise stripes in the fabric.(4) Material blending typically involves two methods: bale blending and sliver blending, with sliver blending offering a superior blend ratio. However, it is crucial to control the unevenness rate of the carded sliver weight, and to add blending and processing as necessary. This is a key factor in maintaining an optimal blend ratio.(5) When packing cotton on the platform, ensure even distribution, trim the high spots and fill in the low areas. Pay special attention to the ends of the cotton rolls, as they are prone to uneven mixing; they should be re-rolled for use. The rewind, rewind strips, and rewind flowers must be uniform vertically. The cotton picking hand should be used less frequently, maintaining the operation rate of the cotton picking machine at over 92%.(6) When implementing the mixed raw material blending method, in the absence of a multi-bin blending machine, it may be necessary to perform secondary rolling. The single rolling of the top, middle, and bottom layers on the cotton platform should be classified and evenly arranged to ensure a more thorough and consistent blending of different fibers; or an additional blending process can be added, where the pre-mixed raw materials are packaged, then loaded onto the bagging machine, and proceed to the cleaning process. When implementing the blending method of mixed staple fibers, the feeding positions of the different fiber slivers must be consistent and fixed, maintaining the same structural position of various fibers within the yarn. When producing blends with more than three types of fibers, a combination of batch blending and strand blending can be adopted. After some fibers are batch blended into strands, they are then mixed with another portion of fiber strands to ensure a uniform and consistent blend of the multi-component fibers.(9) To ensure consistency in the production of the same variety, arrange equipment of the same model, and maintain uniform production processes to avoid quality variations in cotton yarn due to differences in machine types or process inconsistencies. When the same variety of cotton yarn is produced on different machine models, and woven together on the same circular loom, variations in yarn weight, twist, sliver thickness, and hairiness can lead to horizontal streaks on the fabric surface, particularly in lightweight fabrics, where these streaks are more pronounced.(10) White fabric will exhibit noticeable horizontal streaks when the cotton yarn weight deviation exceeds 3.5% or more, and the blended ratio difference is greater than 2.5%, especially when two or more similar yarns are combined together. Additionally, the surface of bleached or dyed fabric will also show horizontal streaks when the twist difference is 4% or more.(11) Clearly differentiate between various equipment during use. Store finished and semi-finished products separately, strictly prohibit mixing, blending, or using them interchangeably. Prevent quality accidents caused by incorrect allocation of materials and varieties, which may lead to horizontal streaks on the fabric surface.Henan QiangNian Textile specializes in the production and sales of "specialized, refined, unique, and innovative" yarn varieties, including high twist yarn, low twist yarn, high strength yarn,涡流纺(wōliú fǎng), and anti-twist yarn.
