Factors Contributing to the Formation of Woven Weft in Knitting Mills
(1) Cotton yarn was not used in the order of production dates; mixed batches and factories were used. Pre-treatment management was disorganized, the quality control of singeing was poor, and batches and production dates were not labeled after singeing.(2) Operator error resulted in incorrect yarn selection, replacing the wrong yarn, and threading the wrong yarn after a yarn breakage. Additionally, after the elastane spandex yarn broke, it was not properly repaired.(3) Equipment operation is substandard, with poor equipment tuning. Sediment strips, sediment triangles, and weaving needle triangles are severely worn, and there is a significant difference in the cylinder center.(4) Improper yarn tension in roving can lead to regular horizontal streaks on the fabric surface. Poor condition of the circular machine's yarn feeding disc and yarn feeder can result in wider horizontal streaks on the fabric.(5) During the use of spandex elastic filaments, issues such as filament leakage, breakage, reverse winding, and double filaments may occur. The spandex filament reels on the same circular machine may vary significantly in size, leading to inconsistent tension in the spandex filaments. The regular and widely spaced fabric crossbars are closely related to the uneven tension of the spandex filaments on the circular machine.(6) In the circular knitting process, inconsistencies in yarn loop sizes are present.
