Modal is a cellulose regenerative fiber developed by the Austrian company Lenzing, derived from high-moisture modulus viscose. The raw material for this fiber is European beech, which is first processed into wood pulp and then spun into fibers through specialized spinning techniques. The product is made entirely from natural materials, is harmless to the human body, and can decompose naturally, posing no harm to the environment. Modal fibers are produced by processing wood pulp from European shrub forests through specialized spinning processes, making them a type of cellulose fiber.
