Artificial cotton: a plain weave cotton fabric woven from viscose short fiber yarn.

Features: The fabric is clean, smooth, soft, moisture-wicking, and has a strong drape. However, it is prone to creasing, not suitable for machine washing, poor shape retention, with a shrinkage rate of about 10%, exceeding that of cotton. As artificial cotton is highly resistant to water, it should not be soaked for long during washing. Instead, wash it immediately after soaking. Pre-wash with clear water to easily remove stains and minimize damage to the clothing. Gently rub with hands, and for particularly dirty areas, use a soft-bristled brush or gently rub with hands. Avoid using a stiff brush or scrubbing board. Since artificial cotton is not resistant to strong alkalis, use laundry detergent instead of laundry soap. When rinsing the washed clothes, fold them and squeeze out the water with a handful or wrap them in a towel to squeeze out water, but do not twist them forcefully. As artificial cotton is not resistant to sunlight, it should not be exposed to direct sunlight when drying; air drying is preferable.
