Artificial cotton: A plain weave cotton fabric woven from viscose short fiber yarn.

Features: The fabric is clean, smooth, soft, moisture-absorbent, and has good drape, but it is prone to creasing, not suitable for machine washing, poor shape retention, with a shrinkage rate of about 10%, higher than that of cotton. Due to the fabric's intolerance to water, it should not be soaked for long during washing. Wash it immediately after soaking, first with clean water to easily remove dirt and minimize damage to the clothing. Gently rub with hands, and for particularly dirty areas, use a soft bristle brush or gently rub with hands. Avoid using a stiff brush or scrubbing board. Since the fabric is not resistant to strong alkalis, use laundry detergent instead of soap. After washing, remove excess water by folding the clothing, squeezing out the water with a handful, or wrapping it in a towel to squeeze out the water. Do not twist or wring it. As the fabric is not resistant to sunlight, it should not be exposed to direct sunlight for drying; hanging it to dry in the shade is preferable.
