Causes of silicone oil stain spots: The pH level of the fabric surface is not neutral, particularly alkaline, leading to silicone oil demulsification and oil floating. Poor quality of the treatment bath water, with excessive hardness, causes silicone oil to float easily in water with a hardness greater than 150 PPM.

Silicone oil quality issues include poor emulsification (poor choice of emulsifiers, poor emulsification process, excessively large emulsion particles, etc.), and resistance to shearing. Opt for silicone oils that are resistant to shearing, electrolytes, and pH changes.
