The water quality of the treatment bath is poor, with high hardness, making silicone oil prone to floating in water with a hardness greater than 150 PPM.

Silicone oil quality issues include poor emulsification (poor choice of emulsifiers, poor emulsification process, too large emulsion particles, etc.) and resistance to shearing. Opt for silicone oils that are resistant to shearing, electrolytes, and pH changes. However, pay attention to the usage and environmental conditions of the silicone oil, and consider using hydrophilic silicone oils as well.
