Weft knitted fabrics are created by feeding yarns into the weft needles of a knitting machine, where each yarn forms loops in a specific sequence along a row. The varying structures and combinations of these loops result in various types of knitted fabric structures, categorized into three main groups: basic structures, modified structures, and patterned structures.

Basic Organization
The plain needle organization is a simple structure in knitted fabrics, formed by continuous loops interlocked in a single direction, as shown in the left figure below, creating different appearances on the front and back of the fabric. This organization has high lateral extensibility but is prone to curling and unraveling, and is widely used in underwear, outerwear, and various types of socks.

(2) The rib weave is a double-sided weave, composed of alternating rows of loops on the front and back. Depending on the number of alternating front and back loop rows, there are various types of rib weaves with different names and properties. The rib weave boasts excellent elasticity and is commonly used in various underwear products and clothing areas requiring stretch, such as the hem, cuffs, and collars, as well as in elastic garments.

(3) Reverse Weave Organization also known as "Pearl Weave," as shown in the left figure below, it consists of alternating rows of knit loops and purl loops. It can be combined in various ways to create ridges or patterns. This weave features longitudinal and transverse extensibility and similar elasticity, and is commonly used for products such as sweaters, sportswear, or children's clothing.
