The Causes of Weft Waviness: 1. If the fabric or knitted design is poorly designed, it can result in a weft waviness condition. In this case, the design itself must be entirely changed.
2. Although the textiles were produced according to standard textile and design processes, a weft twist occurred during the dyeing and printing stages. This type of twist accident is more common in short fiber and long fiber plain weave fabrics in dyeing and printing factories. The reason is that rope-dyed and washed fabrics are prone to weft twist, as softer fabrics are more susceptible to deformation.
Therefore, when using rope dyeing methods or similar dyeing machines, it is particularly noticeable that plain weave fabrics tend to develop crosswise distortion, easily forming a zigzag (S-shaped) state.
