The Causes of Weft Waviness: 1. If the fabric or knitted design is poorly designed, it can lead to a weft waviness condition. In such cases, the design itself must be entirely changed.
2. Although the textiles were produced according to standard textile and design processes, a weft twist occurred during the dyeing and printing stages. This type of twist incident is more common in short fiber and long fiber plain weave fabrics in dyeing and printing factories. The reason is that rope-dyed and washed fabrics are prone to weft twist, as softer fabrics are more susceptible to deformation.
Therefore, when using rope dyeing methods or similar dyeing machines, it is particularly evident that plain weave fabrics tend to exhibit significant weft skew and snake-like (S-shaped) states.
4. When warping occurs, resulting in defective products, the fabric's structure bends, making all textiles using this fabric (dyeing, continuous dyeing, printing) become defective as well. Particularly during the printing finishing process, the warping is clearly visible.
5. The state of using fabric with weft slippage for printing finishing resulted in a "bending" incident. The printed patterns on the fabric appear bent. If the squeegee belt on a round-screen printing machine or an automatic flat-screen printing machine sticks to unaligned fabric, it is prone to cause weft slippage.
