Vylon's softness and warmth are superior, with a lower relative density than cotton, allowing for more fabric to be woven from the same weight of Vylon. It has a low thermal conductivity, making it highly insulating. Vylon also boasts better wear resistance and strength than cotton, thus it can often be blended with cotton to save on cotton usage. Vylon is primarily used for making outerwear, cotton blend tops and bottoms, sportswear, and other knitted fabrics. It is also utilized in canvas, fishing nets, surgical sutures, bicycle tire cord, and filtration materials.
Woven nylon fabric mainly includes the following varieties: Woven/Crepe Wadding Also known as the W/Viscous East Wind, it is spun from a 50% Viscose and 50% woolen粘纤 blend. Woven in a 2/2 twill variation, it features identical front and back, with a thick and dense texture, durability, and wear resistance.
