Tornado spinning is a new method of spinning that uses a stationary tornado spinning tube instead of a high-speed rotating spinning cup. In a sense, tornado spinning is the true air flow spinning. The fiber sliver is fed into the system by a cotton roller, opened into single fibers by a teasing roller, and then rapidly introduced into the tornado tube through a cotton feeding pipe, utilizing the force of the air stream. The tornado tube consists of a core tube and an outer tube. The outer tube has three tangential inlet vents, which are connected to a blower at the bottom. The blower continuously draws air through the tube, with outside air entering the tornado tube through the inlet vents, creating a swirling air flow. When the upward swirling air flow reaches the core tube, it merges with the fibers entering from the cotton feeding pipe, forming a condensate fiber ring along the inner wall of the tornado tube. This ring stabilizes around the axis of the tornado tube and rotates at high speed, twisting the fibers into yarn. The yarn is continuously drawn out through a guide hole by a take-up roller and wound onto a bobbin.
