To achieve a clean and vibrant appearance, along with a soft feel for garments, a bleach wash is required. This involves adding water at 60°C after a normal wash and rinse, with the amount of bleaching agent added based on the depth of the color. Within 7-10 minutes, the color should match the standard. When adding the bleach, the direction should be in line with the drum rotation to prevent localized bleaching. Before bleaching, the water level in the drum should be slightly higher for dilution. After bleaching, neutralize the remaining bleach in the water with baking soda (Na2CO3 or NaHCO3) to stop the bleaching process. Following a final rinse, add detergent, optical brightener, hydrogen peroxide, and adjust pH levels for softening.
