In the processing of certain workpieces, equipment such as spot welders and butt welders are required. When in use, safety must be prioritized, especially to prevent electric shock. Today, we've invited a spot welder manufacturer to discuss how to prevent electric shock from butt welders.
Ensure the welding machine's housing is grounded, preferably using an artificial grounding body, primarily to prevent injury to staff in case of contact with the housing.
2. Welding clamps without housings are not to be used.
3. When changing welding rods, always wear gloves, and if your clothes are wet, never touch metal objects.
4. When repairing a welding machine, always disconnect the power source. Additionally, ensure the power is off before proceeding with the repair.
5. If moving, disconnect the power source as well.
6. In the event of a power outage at work, immediately shut off the power.
