Wood is one of the earliest natural materials used by humans and the only renewable biological resource among the world's four major materials (steel, cement, wood, and plastic). The Zunyi preservative-treated wood platform is biodegradable. Precautions for防腐木platform manufacturing and installation:

Outdoor wood should be dried to a moisture content roughly equivalent to the outdoor environment during construction. Using wood with high moisture content for construction and installation can result in significant warping and cracking.

On the construction site, treated wood should be stored in a well-ventilated area and, as much as possible, avoid direct sunlight.

On construction sites, it is advisable to use anti-corrosion wood in existing sizes whenever possible. If on-site processing is necessary, all cuts and holes should be coated with the appropriate anti-corrosion agent to ensure the longevity of the anti-corrosion wood.

When constructing a patio, opt for long planks to minimize seams for aesthetic appeal; there should be a gap of 5-10 millimeters between the boards.

Ensure that the installation of the fixed joists is levelled on the foundation, ensuring the entire platform is level after installation.

6. Wooden joists must be treated for rot resistance, and the spacing between adjacent joists should be proportional to the platform thickness, but not exceed 1m in the largest dimension.

7. The platform boards are connected to the wooden joists, requiring two nails for each board to make contact with the joist. Galvanized or stainless steel accessories and hardware products are applied to all corrosion-resistant connections. Do not use different metal parts, as they will quickly rust.

8. After the platform is installed, to maintain the surface's cleanliness and aesthetics, apply wood oil (both transparent and colored) instead of traditional paint. Wood oil forms a protective layer on the wood surface, offering waterproofing, anti-foaming, anti-peeling, and UV protection, eliminating your worries about the wood aging, getting dirty, or being difficult to clean.
