Student dining tables are a common sight in school cafeterias, but due to their often large numbers, staff members often fail to properly maintain them. In fact, proper maintenance of student dining tables is crucial, as it can significantly extend their lifespan.
After meals, students can wipe the dining table surface with a slightly damp soft cloth, followed by using a dry cloth to remove any moisture left on the table to keep it dry at all times. Place a napkin mat or heat-resistant mat over the table surface to prevent oil or steam from damaging it. The smooth surface of the dining table should never be scrubbed with a steel brush or a scrubber, as this can cause the paint to chip off. The dining table surface must remain dry. After wiping with a damp cloth, dry the surface with a napkin. For solid wood dining tables, purchase wood furniture oil and apply it to the surface about once every six months to protect the wood. For glass dining tables, use anti-fog spray on the surface to maintain a long-lasting shine. When using a glass dining table, always place a non-slip pad between the table and the glass mat to prevent the glass from accidentally slipping.
Once the student dining tables are well-maintained, we can dine with greater peace of mind and confidence!
