Installation Steps and Precautions for Eco-Door
If in compliance with installation standards, unpack and inspect the eco-door casing, trim, door stop, and seal strips, ensuring all parts are present.
Next, assemble the door casing. When assembling, the vertical and horizontal joints of the door casing must be sealed with glue, then secured with self-tapping screws.
Then, position the door casing in line with the indoor level line. First, secure the door casing by using wood wedges around it. Next, use fixtures and wood wedges to tighten the internal opening of the door casing. Adjust the vertical and horizontal alignment of the door casing, as well as the internal diameter size, by adjusting the wood wedges inside and outside the casing, to meet the design specifications (2.5-3mm gap between the door casing and door leaf on each side, and 5-8mm gap between the door leaf and the floor).
4. Before applying adhesive to door frames and filling the gap between the door frame and the wall with foam adhesive, ensure the wall is clean. Use a spray bottle to moisten the wall, fill the foam adhesive, and note that the foam adhesive should be applied in moderation; any excess foam should be cut flat with a blade.
5. The door casing installation is complete. Approximately 4-6 hours later, the casing line can be installed. After the foam adhesive sets, remove the installation tools and wood wedges, apply glue in the casing groove, then insert the casing line into the casing, gently tap and press it to ensure a tight fit between the casing line and the wall.
After the door frames and lining are installed, proceed with the ecological door panel installation. Pay attention to the door's opening direction during the installation process.
7. Installed metal hardware, achieving the required gap between the door leaf and door frame to ensure smooth opening and closing.
8. Conduct a full inspection to observe whether it is properly installed.
