Basic Requirements for Geotextile Laying:
Seams must intersect with the slope face line; at the base of the slope or areas where stress may occur, the distance of the horizontal seams must be greater than 1.5 meters.
2. Foundation Inspection: Ensure the foundation is level and solid; if any foreign objects are found, they should be handled properly without delay.
Important Considerations for Geotextile Installation and Construction
Geotextiles can be cut using a fabric knife (hook knife) or scissors. If cutting on-site, special protective measures must be taken for other materials to prevent unnecessary damage from cutting the geotextile.
The connection of geotextiles must adhere to the following regulations: Under normal circumstances, there should be no horizontal connections on the slope surface (connections must follow the contour of the slope without intersecting it), except for the areas being repaired.
3 If stitched, the stitching thread must be made of material identical to or superior to the geotextile, and must be resistant to chemical and UV radiation. There should be a noticeable color difference between the stitching thread and the geotextile for easy inspection.
