Formed
Blow molding, casting molds, and thermoforming molds have relatively simple structures.
Complex structures are typical of compression molds, injection molds, and transfer molds, with a large number of components making up these types of molds.
Basic components include:
Molded parts, including dies, punches, and various molding cores, are components that form the inner and outer surfaces, as well as the top and bottom end faces, side holes, side recesses, and threads of molded products.
② Supporting fixed components, including mold base plates, mounting plates, support plates, and washers, used for securing molds or supporting pressure.
Guideway components, including guide columns and guide bushes, used to determine the relative position of mold or ejection mechanism movement.
④ Core components, including slant pins and sliders, are used to withdraw the movable cores during mold opening, facilitating the demolding of the products.
⑤ Introducing parts such as push rods, push tubes, push blocks, push plate, push ring, push rod mounting plate, and push plate, all designed for demolding products. Injection molds predominantly use standardized mold frames, which are assembled from a complete set of standardized basic parts with standardized structure, form, and dimensions. The mold cavity can be custom-machined according to the shape of the product. Using standardized mold frames helps to shorten the mold-making cycle.
2. Common Socket Components and Their Functions
Mold Base (Panel): Mounts the front mold onto the injection molding machine.
Water Channel Plate (Gate Plate): Eliminate waste handle during molding for automatic shedding (three plate mold).
Mold Fixed Plate (A Plate): Pre-forming section of the molding product.
Mold Fixed Plate (B Plate): Molding Part after Product Formation.
Pad: The mold foot allows for sufficient movement space for the top plate.
Ejector: During the mold opening process, parts are pushed out of the mold using ejector pins, ejector blocks, and slanted ejectors.
Mold Base (Base Plate): Secure the back mold to the injection molding machine.
Guide Pillars and Guide Bushings: Provide guidance and positioning, assist in the opening of the front and rear molds, and the alignment between the mold and the basic positioning.
Column support (head): Enhances the strength of Board B, effectively preventing deformation over time.
Top Plate Guide Pin (Central Support): Guides positioning push plate, ensuring smooth ejection.
