1. Pay attention to even brush strokes during application and ensure no missed spots. Maintain a perpendicular angle when brushing front to back and side to side for complete coverage. Avoid thick coats, especially at pipe ends and corners—no more than 1mm to prevent cracking upon curing. Opt for flexible waterproof architectural paint for these areas. In the shower zone, apply up to 180cm or the ceiling height, while other walls should be painted 30cm high.
2. Substrate resolution is crucial in waterproofing construction. It is essential to clear the substrate before starting work to ensure it is firm, level, and clean, free of dust, grease, wax, release agents, and other debris chemical substances. If there are defects such as porosity or gaps, they must be repaired and smoothed with cement slurry in advance. The corners should be rounded off into an arc shape. Keep the substrate moist but not overly damp.
3. The waterproofing slurry is suitable for use in environments ranging from 5°C to 40°C, preventing sustained high temperatures, extreme cold, and outdoor rainy weather. Mixed materials must be used within approximately one hour. It is strictly prohibited to rehydrate the waterproofing slurry after it has solidified. After the waterproofing work is completed, maintain natural ventilation to allow the waterproof layer to solidify. When tiling on the waterproof layer, do not use pure cement paste and follow the construction standards for tile installation. Opt for better tile adhesives. Prior to waterproofing, the newly poured concrete must first solidify.
