Geli Transformer - Precautions for Using Dry-Type Test Transformers:
Prior to the test, the "〨" terminal of the high-voltage dry test transformer's housing and the grounding terminal of the switch power supply control cabinet must have an excellent grounding installation. Otherwise, it will severely compromise personal safety and the stability of machinery and equipment.
(2) It is crucial to understand the basic principles and wiring methods of electrical equipment for high-voltage test transformers and switch power supply control cabinets. If conducting DC resistance and leakage tests, you can first rotate the high-voltage ohm or microammeter to the high-voltage terminal of the high-voltage test transformer.
(3) Preparations complete, ensure the inspection route is accurate. After verification, you can turn off the main power switch. The red power indicator light will illuminate. If it doesn't light up, turn the voltage regulator handle in the opposite direction back to zero. The red stop button's indicator light will illuminate; otherwise, the start button will refuse to cooperate.
(4) Press the start button, and the emerald green button indicator light will illuminate. At this point, rotate the voltage regulator handle clockwise at a uniform and slow rate per second. The high voltage will gradually increase, and you should closely monitor the current meter's indication and the sample condition until the desired test high voltage is reached.
(5) To conduct compression tests on the product, adjust the timer to the required duration, then hold down the timer and alarm power switch. This will test the product's compression within the specified time, after which the alarm will sound. If the product is penetrated, the overcurrent automotive relay will automatically trip. At this point, the reading on the ammeter is the value of the breakdown field strength.
(6) To maintain the tested product from being penetrated, initially, continuously charge and discharge on the high-voltage side to maintain the ball gap, adjusting the charging and discharging working voltage to a multiple of the test working voltage.
