Weld seams with base material thickness of 25mm ≤ T ≤ 80mm should undergo immediate post-heat insulation treatment. The post-heat should be uniformly heated over a width of 100mm on both sides of the weld, heating from the edge to the center and then from the center to the edge in a gradual increase. It is strictly prohibited to concentrate the heat source on a specific area. The heating temperature for the post-heat dehydrogenation treatment is 200-250°C, and the insulation time should be determined based on the workpiece thickness at a rate of 1 hour per 25mm of plate thickness. Wrap the workpiece with four layers of asbestos cloth during insulation. After meeting the insulation time, cool the workpiece slowly to ambient temperature before removing the asbestos cloth.
