(1) Rated Operating Distance: The rated operating distance refers to the distance at which the proximity switch operates under specified conditions.
(2) Operating Distance: The installed distance at which the proximity switch is set during actual use. Within this distance, the proximity switch should not produce false operation due to environmental changes or power fluctuations, etc., from external interference.
(3) Motion Hysteresis: The difference between the action distance and the reset distance. A larger hysteresis indicates a stronger resistance to external disturbances and the vibration of the measured object.
(4) Repeated Positioning Accuracy: It symbolizes the distance between multiple measurement actions. The magnitude of the dispersion in the value is generally 1^-5 of the action distance. Smaller dispersion results in higher repeated positioning accuracy.
(5) Action Frequency: Refers to the number of times or occurrences of a measured object entering and continuously moving away from a proximity switch per second. If the action frequency of the proximity switch is too low and the measured object moves too fast, the proximity switch may not respond in time to the object's movement state, potentially causing missed detections. Non-contact detection does not affect the operational conditions of the measured object.
Non-mechanical wear and fatigue damage, with a long service life. Fast response, typically in the range of a few to several milliseconds. Full-sealed structure for excellent moisture and dust resistance, ensuring strong reliability. Contactless, sparkless, and noiseless, making it suitable for explosion-proof environments. Large output signal for easy interfacing with computers or programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Compact size with convenient installation and adjustment. Its drawback is the smaller contact capacity, which can easily burn out during output short circuits.
