The operation process of the hydraulic press filter mainly includes preparation, compression, filtration, washing, unloading, and discharge stages.

Preparation Stage: Verify that the quantity and arrangement of the plates and frames meet the requirements, that the installation is even, and that the sealing surfaces are in good contact; inspect for any damage to the filter cloth, ensuring the filter cloth holes are smaller than the plate frame holes and concentrically aligned; check that all pipelines are clear and free of leaks; and confirm that the hydraulic system is functioning properly and the pressure gauge is sensitive and in good working order.

During the clamping stage, start the hydraulic pump and operate the valve to move the piston rod forward, pushing the clamping plate to tightly secure the filter plate and filter medium. Once the hydraulic system pressure reaches the rated value, achieve screw pressure retention, and filtering can proceed.

Filtering Stage: Power on and start the oil pump, rotate the "Manual/Auto" button to the Auto position. Wait for the oil pump to run normally and then press the "Filter Plate Clamping" button. When the hydraulic system pressure reaches the upper limit on the electrical contact pressure gauge, the upper limit of the electrical contact pressure gauge is activated, shutting off the pump. At this point, the pressure filter machine enters an automatic pressure maintenance state. Then, slowly open the feed valve, and the slurry will enter each filter chamber through the feed holes on the filter plate, achieving pressure filtration under the specified feed pressure.

Washing Stage: After filtration, to wash the cake layer, turn on the washing pump and valve. The pressurized solution penetrates through the filter cake for washing. This process recovers the effective components from the filter cake.

At the release stage: After washing is complete, turn the "Manual/Auto" button to the Manual position, and press the "Filter Plate Release" button to loosen the piston return clamp plate. The piston can be stopped at any time during the return process.

During the unloading phase: After releasing the filter plate, the filter plate is manually or automatically opened one by one for unloading. After each unloading, check if the filter cloth is clean and flat; if necessary, clean the filter cloth or replace and reflatten it before starting the next cycle.
