When purchasing an ozone generator, it's crucial to first determine its intended use, whether for air sterilization and odor removal or water treatment. For air treatment, you can opt for a low-concentration, cost-effective open-type ozone generator, which includes both gas-source and no-gas-source models. These generators are simple in structure and low in price, but the ozone output is affected by temperature and humidity during operation.

The open-type ozone generators mentioned above are simple ozone units. For high-demand air treatment locations, high-concentration ozone generators should also be chosen. During air treatment, release at a standard of 20-50 mg/m3, with higher values selected in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The total ozone dosage (i.e., the output of the ozone generator) can be calculated based on the size of the space. For water treatment, it is essential to select a high-concentration ozone generator (ozon concentration greater than 12 mg/L), as low-concentration ozone water treatment is ineffective. High-concentration ozone generators come with a standard configuration that includes a gas source and treatment unit, as well as the ozone generation unit. Small models can be designed as integrated units with a yield between 5-200 g/h, while medium to large-sized ozone generators are generally available in unit form.

A high-quality ozone generator should be made from high dielectric materials, feature a standard configuration (including gas source and purification equipment), dual-electrode cooling, high-frequency drive, intelligent control, high ozone concentration output, low energy consumption, and low gas source consumption.
