When using box-type resistance furnaces, it is crucial to adhere to operational guidelines. Neglecting operation details for extended periods can affect the lifespan of the resistance furnace. Only standard usage ensures that all parts of the resistance furnace operate effectively, cleanly, and durably.
Box-type Resistance Furnace Operation Procedure:
Before turning on the stove, do not check the tightness of the gas pipeline valves or whether the pressure in the gas pipeline is below the specified value.
2. Operation of the push rod mechanism, pull rod mechanism, and lifting mechanism in the empty furnace test.
Loosen the compressed spring to the specified size range.
Adjust the water seal level, open the drain valve, and then close the valve through the water seal.
5. Close the furnace door at the feed end, open the box-type resistance furnace door at the discharge end, and close the door while spraying coal oil to form a mist flow.
6. Target the burners in the raw material room.
Exhaust should be discharged through valves that do not penetrate the water seal.
8. Intermittent production begins with furnace carburization.
9. When placing parts, ensure a minimum distance of 5mm between each part. The edges of the parts must not exceed the length of the substrate and the specified height.
10. Quick switching between the paper feed and exit doors is required, but the speed of the sliding rod should be smooth.
The location of the parts should be directly below the thermocouple within the pre-cooling room.
The furnace can only hold 24 base plates at a time, and they must first be pulled in before being pushed inside.
When shutting down the box-type resistance furnace, the furnace area should be lowered to the same temperature and then begin to cool naturally. After quenching the base or fixed device, return to the pre-cooling chamber to remove oil. If a blocked exhaust pipe is detected (sudden increase in furnace pressure), it should be cleared immediately. First, open the exhaust valve not passing through the water seal, then close the water-sealed exhaust valve. After cleaning, open the water-sealed air pipe valve first, then close the water-sealed air valve.
Box Type Resistance Furnace Cleaning
In the continuous production process, the furnace should be cleaned once a week, and the intermittent production tanks should be washed immediately after shutdown.
When the oven cleaning temperature reaches 850-870°C, the base should be removed.
When blowing air through the nozzle with compressed air into the furnace feed opening, the valve should not be opened too wide; instead, it should be moved front to back and side to side to prevent localized overheating.
4) Clean the gas burner with kerosene before carburization.
Box Type Resistance Furnace Precautions:
Always monitor the combustion conditions and gas pressure in various regions.
(2) When opening the furnace door, ensure it does not remain in the middle to prevent flame combustion.
(3) Ensure the burners in the department are ignited and inspect the wedge-shaped door for any gas leaks using a torch.
(4) When the burner flame goes out during operation, immediately shut off the gas valve, followed by the air valve.
(5) If parts fall off during operation or the wedge door does not function properly, stop feeding and remove the parts.
