The XK9350 series CNC thread rolling mandrel crescent slot milling machine is suitable for processing mandrels with diameters less than 500mm and lengths less than 2500mm. It can automatically process crescent slots, equal height rib slots (fully compliant with GB1499-2018 standard) for φ6~φ50 thread rolling mandrels in various specifications. The machine can automatically machine crescent slots with different directions and arbitrary helix angles as per customer requirements, and can be divided (or not divided) evenly around the mandrel circumference; it can also automatically engrave product specifications, grades, trademarks, and other markings at any position on the mandrel (excluding XK9350F, MTC2540). Additionally, it can process non-standard mandrels with any slot type, text, and markings as per user requirements. It achieves the purpose of highlighting functions and versatility.
The milling head features a new type of rolling arc guide rail support, which resolves the rigidity issue of the head support while significantly enhancing the sensitivity and positioning accuracy in rotation. The washing head motor is powered by a high-power 2.2KW motor, ensuring stability during the cutting process.
Machine tools utilize ball screw drives longitudinally (to avoid the inaccuracies of gear rack drives), with a CNC system for automatic control. This allows for automatic movement from one hole pattern to the next, with precise positioning and no need for manual operator movement.
The machine tool tailstock utilizes a fixed center pin plus a high-precision rotating spindle structure, thereby avoiding the issue of insufficient support rigidity that comes with using a standard movable center pin.
