Primarily used for the rough, semi-finishing, finishing, and spark-free grinding of carbide roller rings, composite rollers, and high-speed steel rolling mill rolls, including their outer diameters and R-shaped slots. Diamond grinding wheels are used to grind the holes and outer diameters of hard alloy roller rings, while CNC control allows for the numerical control interpolation and grinding of the R-radius corners at the openings of the hole shapes.
The CNC machine tool utilizes a PLC controller to separately control the abrasive wheel carriage feed and the worktable movement. The positions of the abrasive wheel carriage and the worktable are dynamically displayed on a grating digital indicator. After setting the grinding requirements, the program can automatically complete the grinding of the roller outer diameter and various hole shapes.
The CNC machine tool is equipped with a Siemens CNC system, which separately controls the abrasive wheel stand's feed and the worktable movement. The positions of the abrasive wheel stand and the worktable are accurately feedbacked by motor encoders. After the grinding program is set up, the program can automatically complete the grinding of the roller's outer circumference and various hole shapes and slots.
The chuck spindle on the machine tool is fitted with a tension core shaft. Simply fit the roller ring onto the tension core shaft and manually tighten the locking screw at the end of the tension core shaft to complete the self-centering and fastening installation of the workpiece roller ring on the machine tool spindle.
The grinding wheel spindle is equipped with high-precision roller bearings and is lubricated and cooled by an independent, fully-sealed oil reservoir. It also features a spindle temperature detection device for real-time display of temperature changes, providing temperature feedback throughout the system process. This ensures the lifespan of the spindle, as well as its excellent performance, such as high rotation accuracy, high rigidity, and long bearing life.
The workbench and abrasive wheel stand motion guides are supported by high-precision, heavy-duty linear roller guides. The rolling guide pairs, pre-tensioned with precision, have low static and dynamic friction coefficients, high sensitivity, and smooth, reliable operation. They feature long service life and simple maintenance. Both the abrasive wheel stand and the workbench are driven by servo motors via directly connected, high-precision ball screw pairs, ensuring high transmission accuracy and zero backlash. Their movements can be automatically completed via programmed control or adjusted in real-time using the electronic handwheel DRF function.
Our machine tool coolant purification uses a belt filter, which offers excellent filtration and ensures coolant cleanliness while significantly enhancing the grinding performance.
