I. Overview

The Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) unit is an environmental water treatment equipment product mainly used for solid-liquid or liquid-liquid separation. The DAF device generates a large number of fine bubbles in water through aeration and release systems, causing them to adhere to solid or liquid particles in the wastewater that have a density close to water. This creates a state where the overall density is less than water, and the buoyancy raises them to the surface, achieving solid-liquid or liquid-liquid separation. The DAF equipment incorporates new Japanese technology, utilizing a dissolved air pump to mix water and air under pressure to form dissolved air water, which is then depressurized and released, causing the fine bubbles to separate and attach to suspended particles, floating upwards to achieve solid-liquid separation.

The solenoid pump simultaneously吸取水和吸入空气, internally pressurizes and mixes, achieving high gas-liquid dissolution efficiency with micro-bubbles ≤30um.

2. Operating at low pressure, the dissolved air efficiency reaches 99%, and the release rate is up to 99%.

Section 3: Design of Dissolved Air Flotation Equipment

Solubed Gas Floating System

The flotation system integrates inflow, flocculation, separation, water collection, and outflow into one unit. Similar to traditional flotation equipment, it features a flow stabilization chamber and an aeration release chamber, ensuring more stable performance and superior results. It is particularly suitable for the transformation of traditional equipment.

The Stable Room: The raw water processed through the folding plate reaction has a high flow rate. If it directly contacts with the aeration water, it would dissipate the tiny bubbles, affecting the bubble adhesion to flocs and consequently reducing the efficiency of the floatation treatment. By adding a stable flow room, the kinetic energy of the turbulent raw water is dissipated, allowing it to enter the aeration water release room at a uniform speed, thereby effectively ensuring the removal effect.

Aeration Release Chamber: The aeration release chamber and separation chamber are integrated into a single tank. They are separated by a barrier. The aeration water and flocculated raw water adhere to the barrier, slowly ascending, and then enter the floatation separation chamber. This ensures that the flocculated sludge has ample contact space and time with the tiny bubbles, achieving an aeration release rate of 80-100%.

2. Aeration System

For the flotation equipment, the aeration system is akin to the "heart" of the flotation unit, also being a major component. At this stage, air and water are jointly吸入 at the pump's inlet, sheared and pressurized by the impeller to mix into aeration water in the aeration tank. The gas-liquid phases are fully mixed and reach saturation, with the total gas content of the aeration system reaching 10% and the solubility of the gas at 100%. This ensures uniform distribution of microbubbles during gas dispersion, with an average bubble diameter less than 30 um. This aeration system represents an improvement and technological innovation over traditional flotation methods, enhancing separation efficiency and significantly reducing production and operational costs for the equipment.

3. Abrasive Stripper

The operation mode and speed of the scraper directly affect the water quality of the flotation water and the solid content rate of sludge. This system employs a rotating scraper that continuously and evenly transfers the floating sludge into the sludge trough, reducing the phenomenon of sludge collision. Additionally, the height-adjustable scraper can better adapt to various operating conditions, thereby reducing the moisture content of the sludge.
