Snow Wave Stone and Tai Mountain Stone appear quite similar. How do we differentiate them? Pengbin Stone's editor introduces the following: Snow Wave Stone has a hard texture with very clear black and white patterns, exuding an ancient and solemn atmosphere, formed by the continuous washing of flood-carrying pebbles. Tai Mountain Stone features clear patterns and strong color contrasts, with a more robust style and greater variation in color.

Snow Wave Stone can generally be divided into three categories: Waterfall Stone, Cloud and Water Stone, and Dragon Rhythm Stone. The textures of these three types are also different.

The Feipu Stone features distinct vertical and diagonal striped patterns, exuding a grandeur; the Yunshui Stone's texture resembles water and clouds, some like foam, others like clouds, creating a sense of water and cloud intermingling; the Longyun Stone has multiple white streaks protruding on its surface, presenting a coiled dragon posture.

The Taihang Stone boasts a wide range of base color variations, from black to white, and from deep to light shades. Its textures are also highly diverse, with some stones having thick veins and others with thin ones. The colors predominantly feature milky white and earthen yellow, with the earthen yellow textures exuding a more primitive and substantial feel, akin to being varnished. After being sprinkled with water, they appear fresher and more vibrant. The Xueliang Stone, having been extensively soaked in water, has a strong absorbency and dries slowly, resulting in less pronounced color after watering. Due to the coarse grain of the Taihang Stone, which contains a component of amphibole gneiss, it sparkles in the light. However, the Xueliang Stone lacks such a distinct highlight.
