Silent Breaker, also known as controllable cutting and crushing agent, static breaker, static crack agent, expansion agent, rock splitter, or silent explosive, is a type of building material product with the standard number JC506-92. It is a gray, powdery material with high expansion properties, non-explosive in nature, and made from various inorganic substances. Depending on different environmental temperatures, there are mainly three models: SCA-1 (25°C to 40°C), SCA-2 (10°C to 25°C), and SCA-3 (-5°C to 10°C). Their working principle involves mixing them with a certain amount of water to form a flowing paste, which is then directly灌入钻孔。After hydration, the crystal deforms in the pores, generating immense expansion pressure (radial compressive stress and hoop tensile stress) over time, which is applied to the pore walls. Fractured rocks or concrete are typically brittle materials, characterized by high compressive strength and low tensile strength, with the tensile strength being significantly less than the compressive strength (rock tensile strength ranges from 1.96 to 30 MPa, while concrete's is about 1.5 to 4.0 MPa, roughly 1/10 to 1/20 of the compressive strength, and typically, the expansion pressure of non-vibration blasting agents can reach 100 to 123 MPa). Therefore, a well-designed drilling pattern (hole distribution, diameter, depth, and spacing) can easily break through hard rocks and reinforced concrete. Generally, objects can be crushed or cut within 2 to 24 hours without vibration, noise, flying debris, or harmful gases. It is an ideal alternative to explosives and other blasting tools today.
